Bravely Default II is a JRPG video game developed by Claytechworks and published by Square Enix and Nintendo. It was released on February 26, 2021 and is the third game in the Bravely series, though it's unrelated to the previous two games in terms of story. It is available on Nintendo Switch and PC. The story starts with a simple sailor named Seth washing up on the shore of a beach on the continent of Excillant before being rescued by Gloria, a princess from a fallen kingdom whose duty is to protect four elemental Crystals that can cause cataclysmic events if in the wrong hands. They also meet Elvis, a scholar trying to decrypt a book left by his mentor, and Adelle, a mercenary searching for her lost sister. The party journeys across the world to retrieve the Crystals and solve their own ordeals before evil triumphs.
