A longplay of Crystal Kingdom Dizzy on the zx Spectrum 128k. There seems to be various dumps of this game all at various stages of its development. I decided not to submit this longplay and instead longplay another version of the game for the longplays site.

Its confusing where this version sits in the development cycle. What is knows as the retail release (lets call it 1.0), all the tree trunks are 2 shades of red, daisies stove is white with some red. and on the forth level, the crystals are multicolour. That is just a few of the differences that stand out.

The tape dump I used for this longplay is labelled as v1.5. which I assumed wrongly it meant it was the last build of the game., although after playing it looks more like v0.5. Throughout the game certain tiles are either different or flat out wrong. This is especially noticeable in the final chapter although the rocks seem to be using the wrong tiles throughout the game. Trees, well wood in general is now magenta and red, daisy's stove is completely blue! Also water is cyan In all other tape dumps the water is blue. I also notice the lamps on the pirate ship have had the palette swapped. Another notable difference is the Hud which is more colourful.

There is also a tape dump of a Russian translation of the game. it retails the gameplay elements of the 1.0 release, but it has an even better/newer looking hud than this version.

While I'm not submitting it to Longplays.org, it I will show this version on YouTube to compare against other versions.
