This boss was the bane of my normal mode playthrough. So I spent 3 hours figuring out a way to shame the hell out of him while still retaining a sort of holy trinity party setup of sorts.

My Beatsmith is running the Equip Axe passive in order to use the Gaia Axe and Gaia Vest for the massive earth attack boost, along with the Attack Focus passive. It results in regular attacks that do hilarious amounts of damage thanks to Beatsmith's class passive.

Everyone is at critical HP in order to trigger Aegis' class passive, which auto covers everyone at critical HP. My Aegis is also using the sword that lowers enemy attack upon hit. I technically didn't need to over-prepare by having my Aegis use both Smokescreen passive AND the shield that sets your defense to 9999 for the first hit taken since he could easily survive Devourer's attacks as long as the debuff is cleansed in time, but it gave me the time to have my Scholar buff my Warlock and Beatsmith instead of having to heal.

Technically this run could have been faster if I didn't waste my time with Hunter's Mark usage, but oh well. My Warlock remained in his usual build in case I needed to cleanse the debuff on my tank or the boss used Chum the Waters an additional time. The latter happening would have KO'd my Beatsmith and Scholar, necessitating a doublecast revive.
