Crystallised (2007)
0During the week it took me to write my first and only short piano song (on a casio keyboard) (called closest) I did practice piano to get some basics down, I remember doing this at about 2 am and it was snowing, it is all pretty basic but I really enjoyed playing it even though it is really short.
This was done using the line 6 loop function, I had only been playing for a couple of days, by the end of the week I had managed to write the song closest on the casio....(its called closest because I really struggled with the timing in one bit)...I then moved on to other projects on guitar because I had loads of ideas on that and I felt more comfortable on guitar...I regret not carrying on with the keyboard but it took me a week to write just over a minute on piano where as with guitar I could write several 3-6 minute songs in a week...it was a no brainer.
