Crytek BANS Reshade in HUNT Showdown
10The latest developer update for Hunt Showdown has them acknowledging that it can provide a powerful advantage, and takes the first steps to end re-shade use!
From now on you will receive an error when trying to load the game if you have reshade active, or in the hunt folder. - AND - if you circumvent this and run re-shade anyway you open yourself up to a future account ban from Crytek.
HUGE NEWS - though i do hope they follow it up with accessibility features for color blindness quickly, they claim to be looking into it.
Reshade is an interesting one, my guess is the amount of people using it legitimately for accessibility is low, and the amount using it for unfair advantage in games is probably higher than I think it is.
BUT also probably not nearly as many as folks who blame every headshot they receive on reshade (or reddit) would lead you to believe.
What are your thoughts, hyped reshade is gone???
