These Clips were from a 30 Minute stream ( I couldnt last any longer) the other night. I compiled the best parts to give you a glimpse into my life and how I am not a strong man lol
Alone in the Rift - You are in the forests/woods and everything has gone to all shit. You are sent on a mission to figure out what exactly has happened, as well as to try and survive. You will encounter creepy horrors along the way, and you will get jump scares. This game, coupled with the Rift is not a fun experience. It's truly groundbreaking when it comes to immersion...but sometimes it's too much for its own good
When Lights Die - Another horror game that instead puts the focus on you inside of a 'simulation' that has gone bad. You are trapped in a hotel, and the only way to survive is to follow the lights they remain on. If the lights die...so do you. Oh, also, you are being chased by a horrible creature, a silent ghost kid, and some bastard is whispering in your ear...Fun times.
The Oculus Rift was developed with horror games in mind. At times there is no escaping the horror unless you take off the headset, and even then you realize that you are still shaking. The only way I can describe it (if you havent tried the Rift yet) is being in a Pitch Black Room. ABSOLUTELY Pitch Black, and focusing on the monitor intently. No perpihperal vision. Now...on top of that, when something scary is about to happen, you can not look away (it only turns your head to see it in a different perspective), you can merely close your eyes and hope for the best.
I for one hope to get some more traditional games on the Rift, as well as some more advanced horror games. These seem to be demos that are built on concepts and shock scares as opposed to deep adventures. Regardless, its still scary, and still innovative.
Hope you enjoy me being a girl...
