CS:GO - Crippling Controller
4So, I had recently plugged my Xbox controller into my PC again for other games, and noticed when starting up CS:GO, that you are asked to commit to a certain input scheme before playing, either keyboard/mouse or controller. So, as part of the beta testing, I gave the controller a shot.
Unfortunately, there are no available options for controller settings, inputs, sensitivity - so it all has to be done via the config, which seems pretty standard for Source games. However, one real oddity is that while the movement stick works fine, the aiming stick doesn't work completely. In fact, you can't look up or down at all.
This here is a game using the controller with the debilitating inability to look up or down. It is rather surreal.
