Creator(s) of the map: Hannibal
One of the undisputed most popular maps of the 2012-2014 era of zombie escape. You can say what you want (many people HATE the map to the bottom of their hearths), but this map is from a mapper's point of view an incredible piece of artwork. The amount of mechanics, items, effects and more included in the map were groundbreaking at that time.
Unfortunatly, it's a victim of its own succes. Paranoid is still one of the most, if not the most complicated maps for new players to date. On top of that, because of its sheer craziness, people kept asking for more, more, and even more gunky stuff that in the end started to overwhelm the majority of the playerbase. As a result, too many modes are so random, combined with the vast amount of mazes in the map, that players barely ever win or understand what the hell is happening.
I still regard it is a one-of-a-kind map that really deserved its praise at the time. It's sad to see the negative response to Paranoid after everything it's been through, being nearly instantly rtv'ed as soon as the first round is over. I hope that over time this map will return into rotation, not like it was before (which was exgaggerated), but at least enough so that the current 2017-2018 playerbase can once again aqcuire some love and respect for this incredible map.

GAMEPLAY MODE: Zombie Escape
Zombie Escape is a Source Mod that runs in CS:S and CS:GO. The goal is to escape as a team (CT's) from the infected (T) that get randomly chosen each round. During the escaping attempt, random and fixed events may happen that reward special items to aid in pushing back the zombies. If the team succeeds in surviving, they win and the zombies are slayed.
If the opposite is true, all humans will become infected and all hope is lost! Make sure to bring good teamwork to the table as you'll need it to overcome some of the harder challenges such as boss battles and giant zombie hordes.
