Creator(s) of the map: Cisneros
Cisneros is responsible for a huge amount of zombie escape maps, ranging from CS1.6 to CS:GO, being one of the very few ones to have mapped for all three installments. As a result, all of his map have always kinda felt granted, in a good way. There's always fun to be had, a theme to rely on and a good time fighting off zombies by means of interesting choke points, timings and events.
Italy town is no exception to the rule, although I have to agree that there's little difference between the difficulties, making extreme and hard only different for being longer, but that's about it. Despite that, the level design is great and enjoyable, and I would recommend this map anytime!

GAMEPLAY MODE: Zombie Escape
Zombie Escape is a Source Mod that runs in CS:S and CS:GO. The goal is to escape as a team (CT's) from the infected (T) that get randomly chosen each round. During the escaping attempt, random and fixed events may happen that reward special items to aid in pushing back the zombies. If the team succeeds in surviving, they win and the zombies are slayed.
If the opposite is true, all humans will become infected and all hope is lost! Make sure to bring good teamwork to the table as you'll need it to overcome some of the harder challenges such as boss battles and giant zombie hordes.
