Santassination is already an old map at this point. I've beaten it multiple times and already have a few videos of the map up for many years. Yet, in the passing time to date there's apparantly a new version of this map running on servers which I have never seen or played before. For the entirity of the map it feels pretty much like the official v3 version, but perhaps something after the anniversary update required a fix or something like that.

In any event, it's nice to revisit this map once more and go through all the various levels. Prologue is really the easiest part of the map and serves more as a prelude to the main acts following this six minute long warmup. It reenacts the scene where simba dies in the wildebeests stampede but with a freaky twist with the santa assistant basically stomping down Simba into the horde. Once you survive the stampede it's basically victory unless you are outnumbered 59 to 5.

A great map, that every veteran of the mod just has to have played at least once. Good luck!
