CT scan or computerized tomography is a form of medical imaging. X-rays are taken from multiple angles to determine the internal structure of the body.
It produces high resolution images which help with the diagnosis of various conditions. This is done by injecting a contrast dye into the body that helps to visualize things better. Rotating x-rays are then taken to produces detailed 3D images.
