Curing Burn-in.. ?

1Using the Desksaver widget to run a screen-saver as a desktop background in osX.
Trying to cure the display of burn-in.. I could see the ghostly outline of the dock, icons and even Mail on my iMac screen. Very disconcerting. Seems like this issue isn't unheard of on 2008 24" imacs.
