220Power to the People puts us in charge of the power grid of a city and we have to make sure that the ever growing population have enough power to turn their lights on, get their televisions on and, perhaps most importantly, get their kettles on!
We choose to go to Montpellier in France where we start nice and small, with just a single power station, a substation and a battery, and it all seems fine to begin with. But as the city grows, so do the demands for power, and we have to expand our power infrastructure a bit to help out.
As time passes more cities are built, all of which require power too, so we have to try to earn enough money to build more things whilst making sure everyone is happy with our performance!
However things soon spiral into chaos as our substations and powerlines explode and our cities are plunged into darkness!

Don't push your substations and power lines too hard for too long, or bad things will happen and everyone will be left in the dark... And it will be game over for you!
Did you think things were hard enough as they were? Well, hold your horses, as you'll also have to face solar flares, lightning bolts, trees falling on your power lines and other disasters that will keep you on your toes. Always have a backup plan, and try to get things up and running quickly again, or otherwise customer satisfaction will plummet!
