The Cushion Lab Calm Embrace Weighted Blanket just recently hit the market. It features a 100% cotton outer shell and is filled with glass nanobeads. The weighted blanket comes with a duvet cover with a Minky side and a breathable cotton side.
The Cushion Lab weighted blanket comes in a Queen-size and weighs 15 lbs.
If you are looking for a value weighted blanket, the Cushion Lab is right up your alley. It only costs around $100 which is a very good deal. If you want a quality weighted blanket, but you don’t want to spend too much money, the Cushion Lab is a good option.
The weighted blanket also comes with a free duvet cover so you are saving even more money in this respect.
The Cushion Lab features some of the best weight distribution I have ever seen. If you want to feel even weight across your body, take a look at the Cushion Lab.
Also, while the blanket only comes in one size and weight, it should be a great match for those who weigh between 120 and 190 lbs.
However, if you want a weighted blanket for heavier people or a weighted blanket for children, you might need to look elsewhere. The 15 lb weighted blanket will be too heavy for children and too light for larger people over 200 lbs.
Also, if you want a weighted blanket that isn’t 60” x 80”, you will have to look at a different company. If you like a throw-sized weighted blanket or want something larger for couples, the Cushion Lab might not be the best option for you.
Finally, you might sleep hot under the Cushion Lab. Even with the breathable cotton layer in its cover, the blanket does trap heat. I found myself heating up underneath the blanket.
