Description:
Akira is an independent hunter who recently completed some important missions for Zetacorp. Unfortunately, President Zazz pressures them into taking another job because they're too useful to let go. Worse yet, despite his stated goal of fending off the demons and reviving humanity, Zazz's true motives aren't as benevolent as they appear. Will Akira ever find an opportunity to retire peacefully?

0:00 Recap
0:24 Vulcanite Mines
Surprisingly, this place doesn't have one-way paths that lock you in. If only more dungeons were like this.
Zazz shows up on a screen and brags that due to his immortality, he's in no rush to complete his apartheid plan. He also reveals that Zeta never needed Vulcanite's power plants. He just wanted to deny such resources to non-humans. He also sends the new version of Detritus after us.
9:24 Boss: Detritus Twelve
They can summon clones that have low HP, but they enable a powerful multihit attack.
12:41 Vulcanite Mines
Sadly, Twelve is much more subservient to Zazz than Eleven is.
18:10 Red Enemy: Volvine
21:39 Vulcanite Mines
23:09 Boss: Morgalia / Archdemon Leo
In the first round, if Morgalia KOs everyone except Chase, it's an instant Game Over. Also, Morgalia can summon a minion every turn.
In the second round, Morgalia syncs with Leo and summons a minion at the start of each turn and upon taking a hit. Too many minions means she can use her strongest moves This is pretty much intended to punish combos and multihit attacks.
32:38 Vulcanite Mines
Morgalia activates the self-destruct sequence to destroy the mines and power plant. Worse yet, the minecart requires someone to stay behind to operate it. This can be Crow, Edgar, Chase, or Kiyota depending on how low their link level is. In my case, I got Crow, and I forgot to remove his equipment because I didn't realize that the story was really going to kill him off for real.
Morgalia survived and didn't interfere with the minecart operation because she wants Chase to survive. However, whoever stays behind will point out that she's still selfish and forcing her desires on Chase without ever taking responsibility for her abuse. According to the JSON datamining, Morgalia will die in despair if Chase is the one to stay behind.
Crow staying behind will have Morgalia claim that the two of them aren't so different because they're both estranged from their daughters, but that was largely Morgalia's choice and Crow is actually trying to improve society for the sake of his family instead of bleeding it dry for the sake of his family.
36:13 Vulward
Sadly, it looks like the public bought the false flag operation and turned against Akira.
36:46 Zeta Press
Additionally, Zazz has enough resources to quickly restore power to Vulcanite, but he refuses to until Akira is captured.
37:43 Vulward
39:18 Zetacorp
Akari is secretly upset that Zazz let Eliza join Akira.
40:20 Aquarius Temple
Clyde gloats about Vulcanite's situation.
The enemy team points out that Barbados's death could have been avoided if Kael revealed himself to his bro.
41:31 Leo's New Sync Partner
I have no idea what Leo would do if Chase didn't survive. I guess Leo would just go dormant.
42:13 Virgo's Sync
Virgo takes over Rosie's body, but seeing Rosie's memories makes the angel/demon refuse to work for Zetacorp. Unfortunately, Akari uses a machine to restrain Virgo/Rosie.
45:14 Vulward
47:39 Taking Crow's Equipment
I had to reload and beat the boss again, since his gear isn't automatically returned to the inventory.
48:37 Chase Bad Ending
It's honestly kind of underwhelming.
49:19 Vulward
We really don't know a lot about the Kolfos. Why weren't they explained in the library in Zeta? Does the state have something to hide about them? Did Zeta conquer them ever worse than Vulcanite?
