Description:
Akira is an independent hunter who recently completed some important missions for Zetacorp. Unfortunately, President Zazz pressures them into taking another job because they're too useful to let go. Worse yet, despite his stated goal of fending off the demons and reviving humanity, Zazz's true motives aren't as benevolent as they appear. Will Akira ever find an opportunity to retire peacefully?

0:00 Recap
0:20 Zetacorp
They're combining shock obstacles with the direction button courses.
I actually missed the miniboss fight with Detritus 10, which kinda sucks. Sadly, this game is anti-backtracking.
We learn more about Akari's past. She was raised in the Smog Empire's brutal patriarchy and was considered property to be sold. She burned her face when she became of age, and Capricorn ate her abusive father. As a result, she hates every living being on the planet and wants to help Zazz create a dystopia where humans oppress everyone else.
9:09 Boss: Akari/Capricorn
She has two arms that revive themselves and she has no weaknesses. If she gets full hype, she banishes a party member. Somehow, she never got a chance to banish any of my characters. Also, I accidentally used Fredek's Panic Attack on the wrong target and still won.
After a second viewing of the footage, I think she's actually weak to fire, but her sprite is too big to see her weaknesses. I wonder if the same is true for Zazz's second phase.
15:53 Zetacorp
Stage 10-1 supposedly changes based on your difficulty level, but I have no point of reference and I didn't find anything interesting. There are plenty of Retrograde demons here, which are all elite versions of the zodiac spawns and even have some of the archdemons' mechanics. Of course, I can't reexplore this place.
Asterisk sets up one last shop and once you approach the elevator, he states that he actually defeated Zazz/Zavior in the past. But the computer from before implies that he's helping Zazz now.
If Kael's sync was already at 4, it'll be maxed now.
As the computer implied, just bringing the stones to the top floor automatically fulfills the conditions to restore humanity.
26:40 Boss: Zazz
He has a mechanic where he has a yellow barrier to block the first hit and after three hits, he gains a blue barrier that protects him for the rest of the turn, then it switches back to yellow. Oh, and he has no weaknesses, which means your hype generation is screwed.
39:48 Boss: Zazz/Aquarius
He no longer has the barrier mechanic, but he can now summon zombie versions of various characters, such as Barbados, Morgalia, Clyde, and whoever sacrificed themselves in Chapter 2. He also has no weaknesses, but you can generate hype off his minions if you don't kill them too quickly.
53:00 Zazz's Legacy?
Zazz insists that even after he dies, humanity will conquer the world and worship him as a hero. Detritus becomes the next president by inheritance, but he instantly passes that job to Eliza.
Akari tries to blow herself up, but Runi stops her.
In the human stasis chamber, all the Zodiac stones are gathered there. Asterisk is actually the leader of the demons and intends on reviving humanity despite starting the war against them to begin with. He'll give the party 5 years of peace to try to fix society, which will hopefully be enough time to handle the sudden influx of humans.
There's one more choice, where Capricorn asks Akira to help Akari with her trauma.
Asterisk states that this is all part of a cycle. Does that mean demons attacked humanity several times in the past? Maybe they're trying to keep humanity's technological power in check so that the environment doesn't get destroyed?
Aquarius states that all sync partners influence their demons, which means he'll still try to carry out Zazz's will.
You can save before the ending scenes, but do it in a new slot.
1:01:48 Ending
Everyone's individual situation depends on their link level.
1:08:17 Credits
You can create a new game plus compatible save.
1:13:11 Leaving the Building
In your pre-Zazz save, you can actually talk to the elevator to return to the first floor and exit the building. You can now go to the church to explore an optional dungeon. You can also do a harder version of the battle lab.
