Custom: LIEUTENANT ANDRA Masters of the Universe Classics figure by Hunter Knight Customs
20I was never sure if I hit the mark with Andra or not, but low and behold, in the 2018 Injustice vs MOTU book by DC Comics, my design was the inspiration for her appearance, complete with sashes and all! (Artist Freddie Williams II added the fur forearms which is a great touch) I was just aware of this after a customer contacted me to make him one a few days ago. To say I'm thankful is an understatement.
Lieutenant Andra first appeared in the Marvel Star series of comics and was Teela's friend during her academy days. In some fan fics, she becomes the new captain of the guard once Teela becomes the new Sorceress and quite frankly, that is the approach I took to make her. Andra was made out of an Adora body, cast skirt sections from several other figures including the new Wonder Woman. Her ponytail was the most difficult part of the entire project since every section had to be sculpted part by part. I then gave her a resculpted sword and reconfigured blaster (yep is not the same as BG Teela) and voila! Probably one of the few Lt. Andras out there.
