I decided a while ago i'd record some of the stuff i get upto in orbiter.
This one is a 2 hour flight around the world in a SUB Low Earth Orbit. Basically, i'm still inside the atmosphere without enough speed to obtain orbit so the wings are producing lift.
You'll see me bounce off the atmosphere in the beginning and then settle into the very upper atmosphere.
Towards the end however, i had too much speed to properly enter the atmosphere so various tricks were used to slow down for landing.
please note it was rare that my hull temp exceeded 500 deg C

Orbiter 2010 is free software capable of simulating atmospheric and space flight.

The ship used was the XR2, my apologies, i have forgotten the name of the creator.
