I decided to take all of the new gameplay I could find of Cyberpunk 2077 from the Night City Wire gameplay videos around Youtube, and match them up to slightly similar scenes and situations from past shown gameplay to show what kind of progress or degradation we might see in the new gameplay. This is focusing on the difference in lighting techniques, NPC counts, and things such as UI and car interiors. These are not directly the same scenes.


With my untrained eye, things only look better. Night scenes obviously have more contrast, but across the board, textures look better, lighting looks cleaner, details are heightened, UI is better, dialogue options seem more fleshed out, and gunplay seems weightier. I like what I see, do you?
