In this fifth chapter V visits the most important Clubs in Night City: the Totentaz, the 7th Hell, the Lizzie's, the Riot, the Empathy, the Dicky Twister, the Red Coyote, and of course the Afterlife...
Even in a kind of trip to the past she visits Club Atlantis, the precursor of Afterlife.
V has to contact Pacifica's mysterious netrunners, the Voodoo Boys. Their leader Brigitte was the one who hired Evelyn Parker to steal the Relic that threatens V's life.
V will have to help them with various tasks in exchange for the promise of receiving their help.
All of this brings us to cyberspace where V will be able to witness new memories of Johnny Silverhand's life.
V witnesses Johnny's stormy relationship with Alt Cunningham, who is secretly the best Netrunner in town back in 2022.
V watch as Arasaka kidnaps Alt Cunningham so Johnny is forced to go to his friend Rogue at the Atlantis club to plan an attack on Arasaka Tower in order to rescue Alt, but she is already out of his reach and dwells in cyberspace.
Back in consciousness of V Brigitte reveals that the Voodoo Boys never intended to help her and only wanted the memories of Johnny Silverhand to contact Alt Cunningham for fight back the control of the netrunners of Netwatch . Hence she ordered the theft of the Relic to Evelyn Parker .
Alt Cunningham is beyond the control of Netwatch and realizes the Voodoo Boys' intentions so she destroys all of their netrunners, including Brigitte. This is how V contacts Alt in his new state of existence within cyberspace.
Alt will definitely be able to help V and Johnny separate their consciousness by creating a back door in Arasaka's virtual prison: Mikoshi.
With that hope, V ends her journey through cyberspace and confronts the rest of the Voodoo Boys in the real world .
V suffers one of the hardest attacks of the Relic, she is no longer able to withstand them on her own, Johnny helps her by taking her to an old abandoned hotel in Pacifica where he spent time after fighting in the war.
After recovering V and Johnny make a pact to fight together against Arasaka , attack Mikoshi and receive the help of Alt Cunningham .
However, Hanako Arasaka contacts V to offer her a meeting at the Embers Club and give her the option of an alternative plan.
V had a meeting with Panam and the Aldecaldo pending, so she went to Panam's aid to save Saul, the Aldecaldo leader, who had been kidnapped by the Raften.
So both venture into a risky plan to rescue Saul.
Once they achieve their goal, they take refuge from a sandstorm in an abandoned house in the Badlands.
There V and Panam further strengthen their bonds of friendship so V does not hesitate to side with Panam against Saul when she and some of the older members of the Aldecaldo plan to steal a huge war tank from a Militech convoy in order to deal with their enemies. Saul doesnt want the attention of Militech over Aldecaldos since he is trying to close an agreement with Biotechnica but Panam , V , and the others goes for that convoy of Militech and manage to steal the huge weapon .
In addition to all that in this chapter we will have car races, many fights to the death and a lot of music and fun in the clubs of Night City.
