We conk out for the night in V's apartment, and soon after we wake it's already time for a new job. This gives us the chance to step out into Night City and walk its streets for the 1st time.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set in a dystopic future where the power of large corporations and cybernetic enhancements are a crucial part of success and sometimes survival. Our character, V, has recently left his clan to seek the bright lights of Night City. We know little about his past, but we quickly get wrapped up in his present as he tries to smuggle some contraband into the city. As part of the mission, he meets a man named Jackie. Friends are hard to find in this world, and you are stronger with them than without. A bond forms between the two and the story begins.
