Today's Indie Game review looks at space-set shoot 'em up game Cyborg Rage.

Developed by Ragiva Games and published by Black Shell Media, the game comes with both multiplayer and singleplayer modes, and the singleplayer is further split up into campaign and match modes.

I mainly played through the singleplayer campaign mode for this review and found the game consisted of dodging incoming enemy fire while attempting to shoot down as many of them as possible as well. The basic laser shots were automatic and each button on the mouse had different functions that could be used and then had to recharge over time, depending on the ship being used.

The setting is futuristic, with space bases, androids and the titular cyborgs making appearances. However, in the end the game doesn't make much an a name for itself as it doesn't really offer much new or individual.

It is however not an expensive game so check it out if you like shoot em ups and space set games.
