Cycle 28 (27?) - Creepy as Hell - Let's Try
6Welcome to Cycle 27 (note: I called it that because that's what it says on the menu and such), in which you're trapped in a terrifying Groundhog Day-like scenario as a fighter pilot doomed to repeat the same violent run over and over again. But with unlockables! ;) Seriously, this is a top-down shooter with an overarching story element that gets more confusing and creepier as you go on. It's kind of awesome. In this video, I take us through several runs, some of which are pretty good, some not. The controls are interesting, relying on physics and forcing you to drift and skid across the screen much of the time. This takes a deftness of skill I've not encountered in a lot of other top-down shooters. It also means i'm fairly terrible at the game. ;) Don't let that dissuade you though, this is a really great game more than worth its asking price. Check it out!
