A video showing a side by side view of solo nightfall speedrun's been done from Destiny 1 and Destiny 2.
The best comparrison I could find between D1 and D2 nightfall's in terms of length. Not gonna wait weeks for the perfect dust palace to come up in D1.

Only problem was specialist wasnt the modidfier for D1 which that can 1 Phase the boss. But at least you gotta work for it. The moral of the video is Heavyweight is to powerful.
If you solo one phase any boss there should be 1 or 2 reasons why you done it. Either the god modifers come up like airbourne arc singe allowing for crazy damage or you worked for the one phase and took some grinding for.
In D2 we,v lost that feeling there just big versions of a major at this point.

Two thing's I,d like to see at least in Destiny 2 is bosses with more health overall, across the board all areas of the game and heavyweight removed or tweaked to be toned down.
There are many other things but I mentioned those a while back.

Worth mentioning is I cheesed the boss at undying mind to try to keep up with D2's garden world on purpose.Without the cheese your looking at a 15 to 20 minute run which is about right for a solo nightfall in my eyes gotta earn it.

Void Burn: Void damage from any source is greatly increased
Berserk: Minions of the Darkness won't flinch, even after massive damage
Brawler: Guardian melee damage is greatly increased
Ironclad More enemies have shields
Daybreak: The Darkness grows stronger, and so do you Form a fireteam of three and unleash your Light with greatly increased ability recharge
