Dalek Fender Construction : IMPERIAL DALEK BUILD DIARY : PART TWO
9Having already brought an Imperial skirt/Fender fibreglass casting, i needed to make the base for it before i could really work on that section. With no plans to work on, i designed my own way of making it. It needed to sit inside the fender, which holds the weight of the rest of the dalek, and i also needed to make the base fender surrounding the bottom, as well as having to work around the split skirt seam join. Alot of measuring and working out was required, too much to relay in this video. So anyone attempting their own, i hope this video helps. I probably went over the top, but i wanted it as robust as possible, and really made to last, as well as looking the part. Some of my measurements i used came from Project Dalek Imperial plans.
