Something unusual happened to me while playing this game. When i first saw it on youtube, i thought that it was awesome and a must have. Upon starting to play it, i realized that the controls weren't as easy as they seemed, but still carried on. Then came the pure hatred and anger for what seemed to me as extremelly clunky and flawed gameplay. Finally, this game started to grow on me, even though i still struggle with the most basic elements of it's gameplay. In a way, i wish this game had been longer.
It makes me sad that most people won't buy this game due to it's steep learning curve, because, beneath all the trouble one has to go through in order to master (or rather, get used to) the controls, lies a gorgeous game, with excellent direction, originality and sense of humor. Presently, i like this game, and don't regret buying it, even though i have hated it in the past.
This this a complete playthrough that i have split in two parts. Yes i fail a lot, but that's how it's supposed to be... to some extent. Some of the failings may be atributted to my own icompetence, especially in the second part, where, at times, i had the genuine desire to strangle one of my cats, angry and frustrated as i was.
I do hope to see more work form whoever was involved in this project, perhaps with a bit more attention to gameplay. This game is worth it's price, and your time, if you're persistent and want to enjoy something different.
