We’re playing the published adventure Lost Mine of Phandelver! I’ve been DMing D&D since the 80s (with about a 30 year gap in the middle!) and picked it up again over the past couple of years. The players in this game vary in D&D experience, with some playing MUCH more than I have while others have almost no experience!

The Lost Mine of Phandelver was published when Dungeons and Dragon’s 5th Edition was released, and is intended to introduce new DMs and players to the game. That said, it’s considered one of the best, most classic D&D feeling adventures ever published, so there’s plenty of fun to be had for veterans and newcomers alike!

This campaign series is going to be a learning experience for at least a couple of the players, so if you’re new to D&D there’s a good chance you might learn a thing or two as well!

This campaign is powered by Fantasy Grounds (Unity version) – a virtual table top made especially for playing table top role playing games online! It’s a powerful gaming tool and definitely has a learning curve, so many of the participants will be learning Fantasy Grounds as well. For folks out there interested in Fantasy Grounds, you might pick up a thing or two here as well.
