Sword of Frost infinite juggle technical demonstration, vs Stage 10-2 Tel'Arin round 2 boss fight. Due to peculiarities of the infinite Elf is going to be the character of choice for these.

Elemental swords usually can't combo as well as normal weapons. This includes the Sword of Frost, which actually isn't ground combo'ing at all but aerial juggling on every single hit it gets against any target. This is why it only gets a maximum of four freeze hits on normal enemies before it will no longer connect, and why it doesn't seem to be able to combo bosses normally if you mash basic attack. Using it to do extended combos on enemies with juggle protection (ghouls, troglodytes, bosses) is as simple as:

1. Hit the enemy *after they pop out of the frozen state.
2. For bosses, cycle between attacks. You can't connect with basic attack twice in a row, or charging attack twice in a row, etc, you have to insert a strong attack or a dash attack or whatever in between.
3. After every third freeze, use a hit that resets juggle state. The Sword of Frost has a hard upper limit of 4x freeze hits per combo, much like the juggle system limits Thief to 4x charging attacks in a juggle, etc, and if it hits that fourth freeze the enemy is fully invincible until otg.

Now for juggles with normal weapons there's a plethora of ways to reset (any missile weapon, kicks, etc) but for sword of frost there's only three.

1. Kick/knockdown attack, which won't work to extend the combo on bosses because you have to hit them before the first ground bounce and your recovery is too long after a kick.
2. Specifically Elf and Thief's rapid fire 5x shot with, respectively, wood arrow and sling stone, which again won't work for bosses because of the recovery.
3. Hammer and only hammer, out of all the missile weapons.

Hence, precision juggling followed by a hammer throw and loop.

For boss fights you need precise single hits and even against normal enemies you need to slow down your use of multi-hit moves to properly reset every third hit, so Elf is the only character who can really use this infinite to its full potential. Dwarf and Thief have all their motion value/power concentrated in multi-hit command moves, and Fighter has *weak* damage on any move that's even compatible with sustaining the infinite.
