Instant full charge heavy swing strategy/demonstration vs Turtle Tenderizer, feat. Donatello. I would type out the full thing in the title but it's remarkable how quickly the names in this game run you out of character limits.

After any jab combo ender or flip attack connects, and some flip supers, if you hold down the attack button you'll get a fast charge on the follow-up heavy swing. This is practically instant on April and Michaelangelo but as you can see with Don here it still takes some time when using it on other characters.

The absolute *safest* way to approach the Turtle Tenderizer fight is
1. Don't taunt until the truck is doing something other than grenade toss.
2. Don't burn the meter until they're in a middle of an attack you can dodge through.
3. Spam neutral super. Jump super tends to not hit (probably reading the truck as a destructible object rather than a body?) and flip super for obvious reason is unsafe and tricky to position.
4. During the grenade toss attack, take your sweet time waiting until you can walk forward, and *then* flip forward through the grenade, and hit the flying attack to heavy swing combo after the grenade has sailed well behind you. Movement is incredibly finicky on autoscrollers and it's easy to flip in the wrong direction because the game reads your input as neutral + backflip rather than forward + backflip. Plus, if you're too antsy to hit the truck, you'll cancel the invincible frames early and get hit by the grenade.

There's a little demonstration at the start that confirms combo ender + hold will give you the fast charge too, but as you see in the later grenade hit it's much less consistent than camping flip attacks.

One other thing to note is that you don't wanna use this strategy with Leo. He has arguably the only safe jab combo for this boss, but also, his charge time combined with the extra swing on his heavy swing means that the burst hit on his heavy swing won't come out until after the truck has already thrown another grenade, which means you'll take damage at best and possibly even whiff the 4 damage hit after connecting with 1+1. If you do want to use his heavy swing you'll have to settle for uncharged on this boss.
