Daniel Pemberton on See How They Run | The Big Score
Looking to create an ‘unexpected and unusual’ score, Daniel Pemberton captured the sounds of the era of the early ‘50s using vintage banjoes as well as interesting drum and rhythmic textures featuring metals with blocks, creating less conventional drumkit sounds. He also used an iconic piano from famed Abbey Road Studios, also known as Mrs. Mills piano, that the Beatles used in “Penny Lane,” “Lady Madonna” and “With A Little Help From My Friends.”
In theaters now.
