Daring Academy is a visual novel with some pretty decent writing, and plenty of features to tailor towards your needs. I don't feature many visual novels as nobody's dialing in to listen to me essentially read a book, so I've stuck with about 10 minutes of actual gameplay with the remainder focused on features and overall thoughts. I do recommend it for visual novel fans though.
