New to “Dariusburst: Another Chronicle EX +” is an “Event Mode”. Here, players can play through 21 new missions; well, “new” to an extent. Only eight of the events, labeled “EX+ Event”, are completely original. The other thirteen, labeled “AC Event”, were initially arcade-only events, with each only being playable for a certain amount of time.

“Phantom Records chapter TWO” only plays on one EX+ Event, “New Assault on the Cosmic Graveyard”. Here, the song serves as Brightly Stare's theme, the first boss you'll encounter during the event.
