Dark & Light's Magical World
29Dark & Light is a magical world, it is part of everything in it. On the Sacred Path, players will find the center of all the magic, things that make the world behave as it does. According to developers, there are 25 unique places to discover along the path, each with its own creatures, plants, resources and weather.

"Dark and Light’s world is a big place and players have a variety of options to help them traverse long distances; from taming mounts, erecting teleportation portals around the world, or even using magic to transform into creatures optimized for quick long-distance travel.
Magic weaponry is a major part of a player’s arsenal. They will be able to craft physical weapons, which can then be imbued with incredible magical power, transforming them into multipurpose tools and devastating weapons.
Creatures are another incredible source of magic in Dark and Light. In certain areas on Alpha, creatures can evolve and transform, while gaining a huge boost of power and new abilities. Players can also summon fallen creatures to use as thralls or extract elemental magic from select beings."
