Switching to georama mode then returning to walking mode just before the game pans the camera up to say what part of the day it is forces this to happen at times when it's not supposed to, including while the game is paused or while entering a building.

Time also doesn't stop when the screen is fading out to play a cutscene, and if the camera pans up to say what part of the day it is the very frame the fade out ends, it skips the cutscene. While some cutscenes like Gaffer's Buggy, obtaining the windmill slash, and getting a plant buster from Kye & Momo's house are safe to skip, skipping cutscenes that give key items will prevent you from getting those items, and you'll need to use other glitches to get them.
