By trying to do this section quickly I wasted a bunch of time because I forgot to hydrate the tree, I could not beat the snake because I did not have the Serpent sword ( I should have remembered)... thats normally the sword I use throughout the game after this section, I did not even buy the Wise Owl sword on my first 2 playthroughs because I had already grinded and built a better sword after grinding through the Divine Beast cave a few times.
its a painful hour wasted because I have not been reading the dialogue on this third playthrough, also the prompt battles are a chore and not necessary...a real battle would have been better with the snake.
