Dark Souls tries to warn you by naming the PC version the "Prepare to Die Edition." Maybe it should have been called "Prepare to be Shit on by Games for Windows Live." But after 3 hours of trying to get the game running again, we finally get to embark on a new series. This video includes the complete introduction sequence, character creation, and some early items that are very much worth picking up. There will be lots of dying.
