6CHALLENGE: No Damage, No Attack Magic, No Covenant Equipment, No Friendly NPC-dropped Equipment
Relatively easy fight except for a few moments. All of his melee attacks can be dodged by rolling sideways, except his “Deadly Rave” combo, which you dodge by rolling backwards. At around 2\3 HP, Manus will start using dark sorceries. He has three spells and all three have a very distinct animation preceding them: If he swings his catalyst sidways – he is casting a wave (dodge by rolling sideways multiple times, the trickiest one to dodge), If Manus raises his catalyst upwards – he is casting the Abyss Rain (dodge by rolling backwards until the attack is over), If Manus hits the floor with his catalyst – he is casting the Abyss Cage (can be EASILY avoided by simply standing next to Manus). You can also block his dark magic by using the Silver Pendant item, but where’s the fun in that?
