10After wiping out the last of the giants, we take a little detour back to Majula to restock and use the keys we have found. Back in the fort, our progress is interrupted by a PHANTOM FROM THE BEYOND. A battle of wits ensues; who is afraid of the artificial intelligence of monsters compared to the most dangerous game?
Dark Souls 2 is the 2014 continuation of the Souls series, which defined a genre of action RPGs full of difficult situations and mystery. As a cursed undead we are unable to die permanently, and will eventually lose our minds and become Hollow. Keeping our wits about us, we must explore the fallen kingdom of Drangleic to either find a cure, or a purpose. Every death is a lesson.
