I guess there's an optimal order to do the memories in, but I didn't know that at the time, and I'm still not sure of it now. My nephew did them in another order, and got a summon sign for an NPC he met in the one I ended up doing last. Well, this is the melee version. I also have a caster way to do it here:

Anyway... the Giant Lord's attacks are highly predictable, and remind me a lot of the Last Giant, and King fight. It took a few tries to get the timing right to dash through to the Giant Lord, but hopefully this will be of some help. So, you have a time limit, but can enter unlimited times to get everything you need done. I didn't put in all my attemps, just how to get to the final item the quickest. Take the time to explore... there's a lot of nice loot in most of the memories.

I wonder who Jeigh was... obviously not the Giant Lord you killed, but the tree who's memory you entered. He didn't know who you were either since item texts say the Giant Lord was killed by a nameless hero. Interesting.
