0Honestly the toughest part of this boss fight is getting to him. Once you get into his room you can more or less follow the same strategies as the Dragonrider and Pursuer boss fights and just hold left while locked on. He doesn't have a shield bash so as long as you're blocking he'll rarely be able to break your guard (unless he does his downwards swing, but you can easily roll around that). In any case, I've managed to get the first major boss soul of the game, only a few more to go before I can access the end game areas (of which there are several).
