Dark Souls 2 - Personal Promotion Video
5It doesn't make you a contrarian to say Dark Souls 2 is a great game.
I've been playing some games on the Playstation 5 and thought this might be the right time to send off a game I feel is a representation of the last gen (PS3-PS4).
Every generation has one, an overly ambitious game, where the true vision of the game is made possible, only in the next generation to come.
Xanadu attempted it on the MX2, kyaputen tsubasa Series attempted it on the Famicom, madou monogatari attempted it on the Sega, Banjo-Tooie attempted it on the N64, Armored Core attempted it on the Play Station 1, Dragon's Dogma... hmm I really am torn about whether Dragon's Dogma had a vision or not... probably what makes that game great is a lack there of. Anyway. One day, a game will probably come out that completes Dark Souls 2 vis.... oh hi elden ring.

Also, as cool as Dark Souls 2 Trailer (Europe) is, the Dark Souls 3 Location Trailer (that I can no longer find) that showed cinematic shots of within Lothric Castle with soft music is the best Soulsborne trailer. If someone finds this trailer, please send a link so I can confirm it wasn't a dream. kind regards.
