Dark Souls 2 SOTFS playthrough part 13 loose ends, the grave of saints and boss Royal Rat Vanguard
0Yeah this video is quite long BECAUSE of all the lose ends I needed to do this eventually so here we are LOL!
First of all I unlock the way to the shaded woods I did it so that way I can get the person who sells me pyromancies so I hope you got a fragment branch of yore!
Also get a mini heart attack LOL! you see after freeing the lady you need to talk to that swordsman sitting outside he's bernhard and like with lucatiel you need to have him fight with you in a certain number of boss fights now even though I opened the door I still managed to continue his quest line don't do what i did after freeing the women don't open the door and just talk to him until he exhausts his dialogue if you did it right then you should see his summon sign much later on!
Afterwards we go and talk to the women we saved and you want to buy flash sweat, the ring that gives you more fire defence and the red blur this will be needed to help get those treasures back in the iron keep, I also spend about 16,000 souls on the merchant in the house if you do that the he will change his stock to be precise it's 3000 first go to the bonfire then about 16,000 then go to the bonfire again!
Now for iron keep you WILL need fire resistant armour and flash sweat to help as well since that gives you EVEN more fire resistance AND having the ring that equip give you EVEN more fire resistance AGAIN!! yes all of that should help. now as for the other treasures further in the keep use the vases to cover yourself in water this will give you temporary fire resistance as well in other words they ALL stack together but even if that doesn't work you can eat the fire burr as well I didn't need it but you might though!
OK After setting up those 3 ladders we go through the other bell tower be careful you might get invaded here!
Lastly I finally use those fragement branches to unlock those 2 passages these 2 have an estus flask shard and other sweet stuff as well! and I do a few small things I missed as well!
NOW for the next area which is optional but I show it off anyway you need one pharos lockstone to get all the treasure here the good news is that you get one on the way down LOL!
This optional area has a few traps that are activated if you put the pharos lockstone in the wrong place so ignore all the other ones except the one I use! also watch out for rats...there are a lot of rats here LOL!
As for the boss more annoying then hard you need to beat 10 rats before the boss appears if your having a hard time finding the bugger then it's the one with the weird hair cut on it's back it looks like a Mohawk LOL!
Then after more awkward jumping we finally make it to the gutter!
PS:Next time we explore the gutter where a torch is needed!
