Sometimes when you're fighting a gank you can do a lot of damage without taking much yourself but one bad mistake or situation and you lose from the numbers stacked against you. Which is why it's so nice when you can get back into the world but when the summons aren't around, either because they're dead or too busy buying time for the host on the upper section of the level.
