Nothing special, just thought why not record it. My goal was to kill everything as a sorcerer without any melee (aside from melee spells ofc). I wasn't too restrictive on "sorceries only" though, so i used Tears of Denial to make it a bit easier, since I was using a glass-cannon build on SL120 and I also used the Storyteller's Staff poison on the Gravetender, which isn't a spell but I still consider it part of a sorcerer's arsenal. I might do all NG+7 bosses with melee/pyromancies/miracles only as well or perhaps I'll do them again as a sorcerer but with a higher level to see how fast I can kill them (and strictly with nothing but sorceries then). Before I do any of that I want to take an in-depth look at catalysts and their spell buff values as well as specific damage boosts (like the damage boost dark sorceries get from the Izalith Staff), since there aren't any updated/complete guides for that online.

I tried to make the Curse-rotted Greatwood and Ancient Wyvern a bit more challenging by only using melee spells for the Greatwood and fighting the Wyvern out in the open instead of hiding and sniping it from afar. Also I didn't fight the Gravetender Greatwolf at the 2 areas it attacks you at the beginning of the DLC either. I tried to fight the Wyvern at the stairs after the fogwall at first, but that turned out to be a constant back and forth between getting hit by his weird delayed stomp attack shockwaves and casting Tears of Denial, so I figured I'd clear the area with the first 3 enemies in it and fight him from a different angle. Also killed the Nameless King once more (1:08:56) just because I wanted a cleaner kill. With good behavior he can go down pretty quickly.

If I had to pick the 3 most difficult bosses during this run it would be: 1. Demon Prince 2. Friede 3. Aldrich
Aldrich was mostly just bad RNG with him spamming arrows etc. and I actually had to switch to a completely different build (high vigor, low INT, just enough to use Pestilent Mist) for him, so that my Pestilent Mist doesn't kill me, since he takes next to no magic/dark damage. Friede was being a bitch and made me decide to optimize my build for dark sorceries a bit more, which I then also used for the next few bosses. Demon Prince was by far the most intense fight though, but also the most rewarding when I did beat him.
