As much as dark buffed raw longsword can still do beefy damage, ripostes and backstabs start playing a role in the upcoming DLC fights, and for that we want the absolute beefiest Dark infusion. Straight Sword continues to be the uncontested hard counter to the entire Friede fight, and Lothric Knight Sword has much better elemental scaling than Longsword once you reach the soft caps. I'm uncertain about the critical damage -- the in-game menu lists a higher crit modifier on LKS, but kaeporo's motion value testing apparently found the same critical MVs as the rest of the straight sword class (with short sword being the only one listed with an above-average MV).

Edit: Yeah, the Lothric Knight Sword critical rating holds true. Raw +9 deals more backstab and riposte damage on Lothric despite having a higher attack power on Longsword.
