Dark Souls 3 is an RPG game with a deliberately ambiguous storyline, and some punishing enemies and environments to traverse along our journey.

Slave Knight Gael is the final boss of The Ringed City DLC, and many would even say, the final boss of the Dark Souls series even, because of the setting. My absolute favorite, because he is the most aggressive boss in the game by far, matched probably by Sister Friede to some extent; except with none of her bullshit health bars.

Cheesed him with the Catarina set though. And even then I found it hard.
