Ok, lets see if we can figure this out step by step. Basically this is a video showing you what a perfect high level mage looks like with all the appropriate gear and stuff.

1. Impossible to do on Champions Covenant so remove that.
2. You need the Staff Of Wisdom at +5 and infused with magic.
3. Must be wearing the Red Tearstone Ring which boosts all damage by 20%.
4. Intelligence must be at 99.
5. The spell Unleash Magic must be activated before your fight or even during if you get a chance, this gives an extra 20% damage boost to all sorceries.
6. The Channeler's Trident's special ability buff must be activated right before the fight starts, this gives you a 25% damage boost but only lasts 15 seconds.
7. Must be wearing the Engraved Gauntlets for extra critical damage, the damage on that hit (in my video) would have been even higher if by some miracle more than one of the Soul Spears had critical hits but it looks like only one of them did. I say miracle because these gloves only give critical damage 5% of the time.
8. You can wear the Dragon's Armor and use the Dragon Buff but this makes wearing the Engraved Gauntlets impossible and it is unclear which of the two gives higher damage.
9. As for the rest of the gear, they are not important in dealing damage so I won't bother giving that information.

So anyway, this video shows you what a perfect PVE sorcerer looks like. For PVP, my style of play is a bit different. One clue, a lot of fast hexes are involved :)
