Dark Souls - Part 7: Poltergeist Nightmare
2This part was absolute bullshit. I spent two hours trying to get past one level, the New Londo Ruins. The enemies can go through walls (they are ghosts, duh), they can't be damaged without using particular weapons or a curse item, and they will constantly aggro you from behind walls and ambush you in traps. And the ending portion of this level has got like 20 ghosts in a single building. This shit was maddening, almost made me go crazy.
In the end, I had to use a walkthrough, only to figure out that:
1) I was not supposed to be here yet, no wonder I was finding this excruciatingly difficult!
2) I cannot complete this area anyway right now! I need to come back here later! This was a complete waste of time!
Oh and by the way, after recording this, I figured out that the Shield does not work if you do not use the Transient Curse item, no wonder I was finding this so fucking difficult!
All in all, in this episode, I completely made a fool of myself. Shame on me, lol. You can skip this if you want, but the rage is delicious.
