1st: Abomination (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
2nd: Man at arms (Spiked shield + accuracy trinket) - guardian
3rd: Houndmaster (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
4th: Vestal (stun trinket + accuracy trinket) - healer
PROS:
1) Porcupine
2) Great stress output
3) Great DoT output
4) Great healing potential
5) 3 stunners
6) 2 disruptors
7) 2 guardians
CONS:
1) Marks are a menace
2) Stuns are a menace
3) Disruption is a menace
4) Stress is a menace
Tank N‘ Spank is a damage team with great strength of stress and DoT. You have 3 (self)healers, 3 stunners, 2 riposters, 2 disruptors and 2 guardians. Sadly this team is vulnerable against mark and stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „the finishers“, „porcupine“, „original setup“ and „full stress“. I tried both variantions of Abomination (melee beast / DoT puker) and Man at arms (damager / stresser), both variantions are actually good.
My advice: Start with Man at Arms for buffing the team, next use Abomination for disruption OR Vestal for stunning someone. Lastly Houndmaster for applying DoT OR guarding someone.
Firstly, I was very skeptical about this team. While watching old tournament videos I saw, how the team wasn't good, and still most players were playing it. Now I understand, why. 3 stunners and porcupine, that’s a power, that can be difficult for someone. Sadly I faced 2 players, one darkest player with stress team and one veteran player with mark team, who defeated me. If you play the usual tactics (porcupine / original setup), you’ve shouldn’t have any problems. Unless you’ll start experimenting like me and you can be screwed. I almost lost against novice player. Horrible. So… I honestly like the team, it suprised me at the start of the set, but for the victory you must rely on usual strategies. So… mid rate.
