Darktide - How Toughness Works after Launch & Why you might take MORE damage now!

It's me, your friendly neighbourhood Robot. I am a Creator and Partner for Warhammer 40,000: DarkTide and FatsharkAB.
Today I am going to cover how toughness works after the change they made to it at launch. I'm also going to state that I despise the new system, because it causes something of a meta to brew with builds these days, but anyway, I wanted to at least explain it because a lot of folks have been asking me about it and I figured it would be easier to do a video.
POTENTIAL ERROR IN VIDEO - It has come to my attention that under the previous system, 10% was the MINIMUM bleed-through and NOT a FLAT bleedthrough, this does not affect the CURRENT system, but I wanted to note a potential error. Thank you to @Ultragravy for bringing this to my attention! I was not experienced enough as a player to test it before launch (I was more focused on learning the game to make content after launch and for this I apologize)
Tl;dr for the Video - Your Current Toughness acts as a Damage Reduction % based on your maximum toughness when calculating melee bleedthrough. Hence if you have a max of 100 toughness and your toughness is currently 80. only 80% of the melee attack will be blocked by toughness and the rest will strike your hitpoints.
